As the largest school district in Colorado, Denver Public Schools (DPS) is home to nearly 200 schools, including traditional, magnet, charter and pathway schools, with a current total enrollment of more than 90,000 students. We boast a diverse student enrollment, 52% of the school district’s enrollment is Hispanic, 25% is Caucasian, and 14% is African American. In DPS, we’re focusing our efforts where they matter most: on creating classrooms that are vibrant centers of learning, where caring educators are engaging their students in rigorous, culturally responsive experiences in order to lift all students toward a bright horizon. Our vision is ensuring that Every Learner Thrives.
