POSITION SUMMARY: The Construction Administrator will act as point of contact between the firm and the Contractor. Review and interpret requirements of construction documents, Monitor RFI's, drawings/specifications and submittals. Make recommendations and consult with the Owner on all issues related to the project. Monitor closeout submittals and perform periodic construction site visits, evaluate Change Orders. Conduct document coordination and constructability reviews, periodic reports of construction progress and project activities. Communicate and collaborate with design team including engineers. Be familiar with sustainable design strategies. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 15+ years of field experience
  • Experience with large mixed-use and multi-family a plus
  • Professional degree- Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering
  • Strong negotiating and management skills
  • Extensive construction knowledge and understanding of the construction process
  • Strong communication, organizational, and document control skills
  • Ability to multi-task, time manage and meet deadlines
