Embarc is currently seeking full-time candidates for the positions of Project Manager and Project Designer
The Project Designer will be responsible for helping to develop the design of projects from their initial inception. Working alongside a Lead Designer and Project Manager, the candidate will work to prepare design presentations to clients and for City/Town approvals with the intent to remain on the project through all phases of documentation. The applicant must be proficient in Revit and have experience in consolidating a working set of contract drawings. Technical background in residential wood-frame construction and detailing is preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills a must, as the candidate will collaborate daily with our Boston-based team. Experience with SketchUp and other modelling software platforms a strong plus.
Qualified candidates for this position shall possess a B.Arch and/ or M.Arch with 3 - 5 years US experience after completion of school and must be eligible to work in the US. EMBARC does not offer H-1B visa sponsorship for this position.
The Project Manager position will be responsible for leading several small teams, typically 2-5 people, through the overall design and documentation process. Responsibilities will include team management, consultant and client coordination, design schedule management and reviewing progress on the overall project documentation. Responsibilities will extend into the construction administration phase. Candidates must be proficient in building envelope detailing, preferably in wood-framed multifamily construction and have a strong understanding of local building codes. Strong communication and organizational skills a must, as the candidate will collaborate daily with our Boston-based team. Working knowledge of Bluebeam and Above software required. Revit experience not required, however strongly recommended.
Qualified candidates for this position shall possess a B.Arch and/ or M.Arch with 7 - 12 years US experience after completion of school and must be eligible to work in the US. EMBARC does not offer H-1B visa sponsorship for this position.
