Senger Design Group seeks a senior-level interior designer or interior architect with 8+ years of experience ready to join our award-winning design team in beautiful downtown Colorado Springs, Colorado. The firm collaborates with strategic partners in both the public and private markets to produce a strong portfolio of hospitality, corporate/workplace, health care, senior/affordable/multi-family, historic, retail, faith-based, military, and residential projects. 

Ideal candidates must demonstrate an expertise in architectural interiors, FF&E, and project management. The target candidate is a self-starter and leader able to collaborate with other talented designers in a wide range of project types spanning across North America.   • Lead the design team and collaborate on projects within the broad portfolio
  • Lead and participate in the production of architectural interior documents
  • Develop and manage project budgets and schedules
  • Create, direct, and document FF&E packages
  • Mentor other designers on the team
  • Collaborate with colleagues, contractors, and industry reps to deliver cohesive project results
  • Foster ongoing, productive client, partner, and team relationships
  • Contribute to office initiatives, activities, and philanthropy efforts

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8+ years’ experience in interior design or interior architecture
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field from an accredited school
  • NCIDQ accreditation preferred; ASID, IIDA, or other professional affiliation a plus
  • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, SketchUp, InDesign, MS Office
  • Outstanding graphic presentation skills 
  • Excellent written + verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of building and life safety code requirements
  • Strong leadership, organization, communication, and relationship management skills
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects at varying stages of development
