Summary: Assist in preparing complete and accurate working plans and detailed drawings from rough or detailed sketches or notes by performing the following duties.
Required Qualifications:
- B.Arch or M.Arch from an accredited school of Architecture.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- 6 or more years of architecture practice experience (including at least 1 year of U.S. experience)
- Strong design portfolio
- Managing clients with multiple projects.
- Maintaining relationships with clients to provide a high level of service.
- Involvement with pre-design and programming phases of a project.
- Overseeing the production of design documents
- Guiding and producing all document phases of a project, SD, DD, CD and CA.
- Coordinating project consultant efforts.
- Strong collaboration and organizational skills are a must.
- Hands on approach and flexibility are a must.
- Consults in the planning, design and coordination of large complex projects.
- Responsible for technical design aspects of an assigned major project including investigation, evaluation and recommendations.
- Provide technical guidance to less experienced staff.
- Carries out complex or novel assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures.
- Knowledge of local building code is required.
- Serving as the technical leader and project manager for significant development projects. The ability to manage several simultaneous projects is a requirement, overlooking different project teams.
- Establishing the initial project schedule and regular maintenance of project schedules. This activity includes the recommendation of appropriate staffing for each design activity
- Strong Project Management skills
- Experience with Revit is preferred.
- U.S. Architecture license is preferred
Other Requirements:
- Experience with Revit is preferred.
- U.S. Architectural License preferred
- Knowledge of the City Building Code is preferred.
- Other duties as assigned.
